Michelle Contillo, LCSW

Michelle Contillo received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and spent more than 15 years of her career working directly with patients affected by kidney disease. During her time working with underserved populations in the community, Michelle noticed the persistence of gaps in knowledge of and engagement in care by patients with CKD. This resulted in a renewed passion to join an organization that is committed to empowering patients who have CKD by addressing psychosocial factors and coaching them to attain personal and health goals which they develop for themselves together with their health care team.
